ABOUT

NavalX’s Crucible program, delivered through the Inland Empire Tech Bridge and powered by FedTech, is a multi-track innovation initiative inspired by the U.S. Marines’ 54-hour Crucible boot camp. It is designed to help entrepreneurs, inventors, and startups launch new ventures using federal or university-created dual-use technologies with both national security and commercial applications. The core Crucible Ignitor track is a virtual, 12-week startup studio that matches teams with lab-developed technologies, mentors, and tech-transfer experts. It requires no fees and takes no equity. After Ignitor, the Crucible Accelerator supports early-stage startups from California, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii with mentorship, workshops, and exposure to Naval and university resources. For growth-stage ventures, Crucible Afterburner offers six months of customized support to help companies transition into Department of Defense markets. At its core, Crucible connects government-developed technologies with entrepreneurial talent to build dual-use ventures that can solve defense challenges and thrive commercially.
